Dear Friends, and Friends to be....
I am embarking on a journey that is, to me, exciting and a real
challenge. I am needing all of you folks out there who have
had the pleasure/burden of being a braces wearer.
Why you may ask... am I looking to hear from those of you who are
current wearers and those of you who were at one
time.
Let me tell you my angle... I'm interested in any feedback you
might have for me!
I am looking to write a book on the braces subject... something to
the effect of "Faces of Braces-- then and now"
a users guide empathy, humor, short stories & bios,... more
explained below...
As it was, I had braces myself a long while back and had to wear
them 4 years (ugh)
Nevertheless, they were really worth having :)
Now my young teen daughter really needs braces, and I really need to
find a way for her to have them!
I am on disability, but I can write! I love people and writing
human interest stories... and would be honored and pleased to
hear from any of you!
I am looking for stories from folks who consider themselves "fun-
loving" individuals who want to be in pictures!
well, not exactly Hollywood :( but fun nonetheless!
This book.... featuring "Braces wearers, then and now!" is
something I really feel compelled to do... for the experience...
AND to earn the funds for my daughter to be able to have braces.
I am looking for pics of "you", whoever you are! -- "before and
after" photos, "during & after" photos, or "before, during
and after" photos! you get the picture. Even more helpful would be a
{bit of a bio.from you}... Including but not limited to any
funny remebrances, anecdotes or otherwise humorous OR maybe
inspirational stories sharing what having braces (or
getting them off!) meant to you or how they may have changed the
course of your life. Just about anything you might want
to add is appreciated... after all, who knows better than those who
have been through the ordeal!
also I would love any recipes you might have for favorite "braces
approved" snacks or "modifications to old favorites" to
make them more metal arch-wire friendly...
**--again, if you don't have time or feel like writing, I would be
just as pleased with your pics!**
