My husband does logo design, so I know a little bit about them. What you
will want to get is a vector graphic -- these can be resized to any
height/width without losing quality. Any logo designer you're using should
know that this is standard.
If you do not have the software to open a vector logo (Adobe Illustrator
will do it), then you will need to tell your logo designer which sizes to
send you via jpg or gif files, depending on what you'll be using it for.
They can help you figure this out.

(PST) We are about to launch our first hard copy product (we have done a
couple e-books). I'm just waiting for my proof copy to come back and
then we'll make our announcement! I'm so excited!
Meanwhile I am finishing up a few loose ends on our website.
What should I look for in choosing a logo? Any suggestions on how to
make one? I will need a high resolution logo 300 dpi.
Also, does anyone know of smaller conventions/workshops that have
vendors in or near north/central Alabama? I've looked at CHEF, the
state convention, but I am wondering if I am aiming to high to start with?
Any comments?
