items on there. All of the artists do such good work. Maybe it would be
worth checking out -- it's free to join.
Kindly,

<http://profiles.yahoo.com/ann18861> Sun Feb 17, 2008 9:16 am (PST) I just
joined this group and have been reading a few of the posts.
Perhaps someone can give me a little advise. I do machine embroidery
as well a quilting. I would like to do machine embroidery as a small
business, but don't know where to begin. If at all possible, I would
prefer to offer items (perhaps linens, baby items, etc) of my choice
with maybe some personalizing. In other words I'd don't think I want
to get into commission work. I have looked at e-bay and it seems you
have to give the items away at less than they cost to make, not to
mention the time it takes to make them. I love to do creative work
and am looking for a source to market them and go forward. Has anyone
any advise. Would having a web site be better, but how do I go about
making that known.
Thank you for any advise.
Ann
