I had just joined this group when I noticed your message! I have
seen Lil Orbits in action and can tell you that it is a great people-
puller! People just love to see how those little donuts are made.
There are however 2 problems I noticed :
- The very attraction of Lil Orbits machine can be a minus too. Lots
of people crowd around to see the machine and that's all. They just
want to have a look see.
- Unless you have a high capacity machine, production can be a slow
process. The long wait can turn people off, so you might want to
have a couple of batches in a heating cabinet ready for serving,
even when people traffic slows down.
You can help by drive up sales by :
- setting up at high people-traffic venues
- giving hot, fresh samples
- give lots of topping/dip options eg. choc, mint, sugar, honey and
any other dip you can think of. people love have choices!
