Just read your post and not sure if this will be helpful, but I've organized
quite a few exhibitions in the UK and it's generally accepted in our
industry that publishers have small margins, so exhibition organisers offer
contra-marketing deals at no cost to benefit both parties.
Basically you promote their show to your audience, and they promote your
book to their visitors, often with a special offer on one of your books to
add to their exhibition visitor promotion. Have you thought of doing
something like this?
Happy Sunday,
Lee

Subject: [entrepreneurs] Logos and Conferences
We are about to launch our first hard copy product (we have done a
couple e-books). I'm just waiting for my proof copy to come back and
then we'll make our announcement! I'm so excited!
Meanwhile I am finishing up a few loose ends on our website.
What should I look for in choosing a logo? Any suggestions on how to
make one? I will need a high resolution logo 300 dpi.
Also, does anyone know of smaller conventions/workshops that have
vendors in or near north/central Alabama? I've looked at CHEF, the
state convention, but I am wondering if I am aiming to high to start with?
Any comments?
Kathy
