I have pondering about this same question: How to get the word out? I
think I take advantage of any classified ad sites that offer free
posting, such http://craiglist.org/ or http://loudheart.com/ or
http://kijij.com/.
My only complaint with craiglist is that my postings are way way way
way at the bottom of the list within a few hours after they got
posted. ebay's kijij (I think I spell that correctly) is also good.
The site follows the similar style as craiglist.
http://loudheart.com/ is quite unique that it offers video + photos
each posting. I am thinking of selling women's apparels and
loudheart.com video helps demonstrate my selling items.
