Re: [entrepreneurs] Another New Person Introducing Herself

Hi there,
I have an idea for you to try.
Why not approach some local businesses in your area (such as a spa, massage therapy business, chiropractor, etc.) and show them your pamphlet. See if they mind having their name associated with it. Then, ask them if they are willing to give you a percentage of the first visit of anyone you send their way. It is up to then to get them coming back.
then, place your booklets around where people will be sitting and looking for something to read....The best place I can think of is in doctor's offices. You could add a coupon for 10% off their first visit or something like that and then the business will know your marketing sent them.

If I might be so bold as to suggest that you change the title to something like "10 ways Your Stress Is Killing You and What You Can Do About It" or something along those lines...make people think they really need to pick it up for their own good...:). And, of course, it is!
I think there is potential for you to make a lot more money that way, esp. if you are in a large town or near several towns.

If this works for you, please let me know. I have another idea or two that you can do if what I suggest works. And, there is a lot of potential.

Of course these are suggestions and take them FWIW.

Blessings and best wishes,
Kim

who's going to have to think about doing that herself! Hmm!

I am happy to have found this group because everyone seems genuine
and interested in helping each other. I am a psychotherapist and
teach yoga. Right now I'm working full-time but the funny thing is
that someone sent me an e-mail on thursday saying that employee
appreciation day is wednesday and they wanted to get some of my
stress reduction booklets to be given to their employees by
wednesday. I was excited but she didn't want to use paypal and it was
touch and go for a while! Anyway it worked out and it re-motivated me
to work on this. I have to redesign site but I'd love feedback on
best markets for it. It's at www.outside-the-box.net .

I think health professionals are best market but I could be wrong
since every business looks for promotional items. I am not sure if I
should use pay per click or not. Also I am thinking of just sending
samples to some manufacturers but the postage for each booklet is .58
and the cost is a little under 1.00 so it gets expensive. Does that
seem like a good thing to do or is there a way to narrow down
prospects so I don't deplete the social work salary sending out
samples?

By the way, I have done a lot of article marketing so can say some
things about that if people are interested.

Debbie
