I definitely ditto that aweber is the way to go...there is also getresponse.
I also agree that html is not usually the best way to sell.....they don't want to wade through graphics to get to the point of the email. KISS
You could always test this and see how it comes out for you.
Usually the experts know what they are talking about and they all say the same thing...
