Fresh off the top of my head. It took about 20 minutes. I think your business name to the customer should have some marketability. In doing that you can achieve customer attention retention. The name of a restaurant - essentially has to stand out in a crowded field.
So, if your menu and name are repetitive - the name stands a better chance for retention. Big Mac - MacDonalds --> McRib, McSkillet, McHoof (I made that up). That is all marketing - keeping the name on your mind.
Anyway - I play a game with my kids when we watch TV and a commercial comes on. The game is - "what is the message? and what is the truth?" Marketing towards children definitely is full of telegraphed punches but it is interesting to see your kids "get it." "Everyone is getting the new whizzer widget!" Message - "you're a loser if you don't get a whizzer widget." What is the truth? Are you really a loser if you don't have a whizzer widget? Watch some children's programs from time to time - you will be very surprised at what the messages are: messages like "Your parents will buy you a whizzer widget if they love you," "Your friends will hate you if you don't have a whizzer widget," very manipulative messages.
Thanks for the comment. --> Ed R.
