Re: [entrepreneurs] how to get recipe book reviews?

Hi Abby,

I am sure a lot of people on here will have a good answer for you, but I think a great way is to get reviews is to actually offer the eBook for free for those willing to post a review. You could find the owners of ezines that are similar to your topic or that have subscribers that would be interested and offer them a free copy and offer them the opportunity to become an affiliate and then advertise your eBook with their own review and they will likely be happy to plug your book (you both make money). You then could use their review and it will carry more weight since you can use their name and mention who they are and what they are a part of,etc. For example..."The owner (or editor, etc.) of Simply Home had this to say about "Learn to Cook the Way Grandma Did"......
People need an incentive to advertise your book. An affiliate program will do just that. You can set one up at Clickbank and I know there are others...just do a google search and you will find them.

You can also offer a free gift or bonus( a smaller eBook or report, etc.) for those that have purchased your book and send you a review.
You could set up a blog just for that book and try and get people to comment on the book (revise your eBook so that it gives a link to your site so it is easy for them to give a review or comment.

I hope that helps and good luck with your eBook! Way to go! Many people never get as far as you have!

Sincerely,
Kim

Subject: [entrepreneurs] how to get recipe book reviews?

Hi,

I have a great recipe book available as an eBook or ringbound version.
It is called 'Learn how to cook the way grandma did'

It covers traditional type recipes on how to make:
- sourdough bread, cakes, brownies, pizza bases.
- culture milk to make kefir and cheese.
- culture probiotic rich vegetables also known as saurkraut and kim
chi.
- brew ginger beer type recipes rich in probiotics.
- recipes on EM.
- plus high quality information on nutrition.
Sales are going okay online but what i need is to get people to review
the book in their newsletters.

But where to find the newsletters is the challenge?
Both online and offline newsletters.
I'm happy to do a joint venture if it will build sales.

Any ideas?

King regards
