I believe you have to find some style of business that you really want to do
and really research it.All of the home businesses have good and bad about
them because there are many companies that input good and bad information on
the web to distort all of what we read out here in the wide world
webictonary.....You have to realize that the Internet is filled with
opinions,if you are looking for a real business, you have to get the facts
(documented, not verbal)
My wife and I had the same frustrations when we were looking to change our
lifestyle, and by that I do not mean lifestyle of the rich and famous. We were
just looking to get a little time freedom, you know a chance to live some
life together instead of going in different directions.
Anyway's,we took about 3 months and researched over 40 or so companies in
this particular arena and found that all of them have bad and good being
printed about them on the web.You just do not know who to believe out here
You have to do internal research on the company.
Because of our corporate backgrounds we had a few staple things we were
looking for.
Longevity of the company and customer retention was the main thing. After all
if they have not been in business long enough or if they did not know how to
keep their customers we felt we would have to work too hard to maintain our
business levels.Another thing that we looked for was reorder rate of product
to the consumer. This allowed us to see if the customer really did like their
product and if a flow of residual income was going to be possible. We also
wanted a company that offered a retirement plan.We are getting older and
wanted a stronger commitment by the company for our efforts in the field.
It has been 6 years now and the company we chose is still with us and we
are still with them.It is truly difficult when trying to find a good
business to build with.We know,we were there.....
If you really have a serious interest of building a business outside the
brick and mortar jungle,we would be happy to share with you the information
and documentation we researched and see if our company is or could be a
match to your personality and your desires. My contact info is: Jim
