Now if you planned the website out and laid everything out in a nice clean way I do think you could put them all on one site. To get traffic you will need a domain name that matches the content of your website. The new spiders that scan the net look for consistency between domain name and relevant content and develop a percentage comparison to rank.

Specialize in just ONE type of product per website. This is called niche
marketing. If you want to sell an ebook about romance tips get a domain name
that reflects that niche, for example, romancetips. com. Then focus that
website on things concerning romance, marriage, etc.
Add content to your site. Few people search for something like "product to
buy about romance", but they will search for things like "romance tips",
"improve my marriage", etc. If they find your site and like the information you
offer for free they are more likely to pay you for more information.
On your niche website add a subscription box to your email newsletter. If
you don't have one, START ONE! Subscribe to an autoresponder service like
AWeber and set it up to automatically deliver a series of emails to each
subscriber. These emails will include further information about your topic and then
after you have given them several free tips, articles, etc. send out an
email about your product with a link to your salespage. Many people may visit
your site, but unless you have a way to contact them later you may never have
another chance to sell to them again. An email list gives you that
opportunity.
