Subject: [entrepreneurs] Wholesale Jewelry Business
I am a designer from India based in Chicago. I have my own line of
jewelry. When i approach the reps and buyers everything goes great till
they meet me in person. I should say i think i sound better than i look
and my jewelry is great too. They like the pictures and they like the
prices as well. But when i tell them i am getting them made in India and
they see me not so model like; i usually slip the deal. Not all the time
though. I attended a trade show and i noticed that till my friend was on
the booth without me we did get some attention but now when i was there.
My jewelry is almost a "fair trade" product. What do you think i should
do to get my line of jewelry the deserving place?
DS
