a big sell in a specific industry. Through some patent research, I
think IBM may own the patent for the technology we would need. They
will not sign a non-disclosure agreement but they welcome new ideas and
potential licensing agreements for their patented products. A few
questions...how do we protect our idea? How are we sure that this
product isn't out there just not on the market yet? If IBM owns the
patent and agrees to a license, how do you get started with the design,
manufacturing and/or marketing of the product. If another company has
something similar in concept and in the industry but WAY more limited
and basic than what we envision, what would be a good next step. I know
I have asked alot of questions, but any information, direction where to
get the information, or advice would be greatly appreciated.
