benefit...bare with me.
If you have a Yahoo or Gmail account (the two accounts I know for
sure) and if you own your own domain name i.e. yourwebsite.com you can
have a custom designed email address at no additional charge. Here is
how you can do it:
log into your website hosting provider i.e. Godaddy, navigate to your
email account and forward your email to your gmail or yahoo account.
For my business I use a few different email addresses dependent upon
the purpose, I forward all email to my Gmail, and or Yahoo mail account.
In your email provider navigate into your settings a look for custom
email settings. You can set up to send email from the forwarded email
accounts after you verify that you own the url. When you send an email
to verify your account it forwards to your inbox, you verify that you
own it and you are set.
It isn't necessarily simple, especially if you are not familiar with
how the internet works, but it is possible, I know that you can do it,
and it makes your emails more credible. instead of hotone07@gmail.com
you can be "admin@youwebsite.com" or whatever email account name you
want to specify.
Furthermore in your gmail and or yahoo mail accounts you can forward
specified emails to additional accounts. Lets say you have set up a
"billing@yourwebsite.com" and you want your accountant or book keeper
to receive a copy of the email, its possible through forwarding and
filtering of your email messages.
