businesses. We deal primarily with two companies, DiscMakers
(www.discmakers.com) and Kunaki (www.kunaki.com).
If you are doing a large run of 300 or more, or you need a multi-page
or multi-sided insert in the DVD case, I highly recommend DiscMakers.
They may not be the cheapest, although their prices are competitive,
but their quality is excellent. We are using DiscMakers once again
for our latest DVD release, "The Pastor's House Father-Child Projects"
(www.PastorsHouse.com/DVDPreview.htm)
If you only want a short run, anywhere from 1 to 300, and you can live
with a single panel insert I recommend Kunaki. They are fast and
inexpensive. They have one set price regardless of how many DVDs you
order, $1.75 per disc plus shipping.
The draw back to Kunaki is that they handle everything exclusively
on-line. Normally I'd say that was a good thing, but when you are
talking about uploading the image file for an entire DVD, we're
talking a very large file. That translates to uploads that take a
very, very long time. Plan on 18-24 hours for a full 2 hr DVD, and
that's if you have DSL. If you only have dial-up don't even consider
Kunaki.
Another company that I have heard good things about, although I have
no personal experience with them, is Disk Faktory
(www.diskfaktory.com) (yes, they spell "factory" with a "k").
