Congratulations on starting your new business. I know it can be
very overwhelming, but the fact that you are seeking God's way is the
biggest step. I thought the following quotes might help you and I
also listed some books for you to check out. I suggest trying to
find them at your local library first, check them out and if you like
them enough to keep them then purchase them through amazon.com.
Doing it this way helps from having a bookshelf of books that you
only got a couple of good pages of reading out of, not to mention it
helps the pocketbook for an up and coming business person.
Quotes: 1 John 3:13 NRSV "Let us love, not in word or speech, but
in truth and action." I know this quote refers to love, but I think
if you apply it to business and think about how important it is to
always be truthful and have our actions reflect that of Jesus you
will go far in business.
Job 34:3 NIV "The ear tests words as the tongue tastes food." This
one reminds me to listen to what others are telling me whether in
guidance or when dealing in business matters.
Jesus was quoted as saying : "The Kingdom of Heaven is within you,
seek ye first the Kingdom of Heaven and all things will be added unto
you." This is a big one for me because I always try to put my desire
for doing God's will for my life first and set my sites on the
Kingdom. WHen I remember to do this then all things fall into place
with an ease that is so incredible that you know it's God's work. It
also reminds me to make all my actions reflect that which is pleasing
to God!

I hope this has been helpful and remember in all things seek the
Lord's guidance and will. And to pray before making any business
decisions. If someone is pressuring you for an answer or decision
immediately be cautious and take it into prayer for God's will and
answer. One thing my husband and I learned long ago was when we pray
for God's answer/guidance we ask that He provide a very clear open or
closed door to know His will. When we started applying this in our
prayer the answers were so aparant it took all the guess work out of
what He wanted for us or the situation.
Good luck with the business and God Bless you
Andrea
