Hy Karmen,

Its so nice to have intelligent discourse in an open forum. I
believe you made my point. Patents are all they're cracked up to
be. Getting the product out into the market first is even more
important. Some companies will even be willing to license a product
without a patent just to lock up being first to the market with it. I
never suggested that a patent be consumated, only a provisional
patent to provide some idea protection for a limited time (one
year). It gives them enough time to figure out how to market it.


If I'm reading you right, you sound like you're in the positon to
analyze and advise. Although, I won't totally admit defeat and
concede the point, I think that all methods should be considered,
perhaps you have another solution that they may consider.
