I agree that information marketing is essential in todays competitive
environment. However, to have the competitive advantage we, as
business owners, home-based or otherwise, still need to out sell our
competitors. This means that the importance of conversion must be
emphasized. While it is true that a few years ago it was possible to
out tech our competitors by creating better websites simply because we
knew more about technology and search engine optimization, now our
competitors have the same access to good marketing information that we
do, hence, increased conversion rates are what will yield profitable
returns and should be top priority.
