I would think that a good resource for your business would be the companies
these home owners use to rent out their properties. Do you know any of the
agents/property managers or know someone else who might put in a good word
for you? Maybe you could present them with a brochure, face to face, and
see what happens. I think a personal meeting always looks better than just
sending something in the mail. Much harder to say no to someone's face. :o)
What if you did something like our local A/C company does and offer a
maintainance program? I'm not sure if your business would fit this type of
model, but before the budget got tight, we were paying a monthly fee to our
A/C company (our unit is over 30 years old!) and once a year, they'd come
out and clean out the whole unit. If, during the time between cleanings,
the unit had troubles, they'd come out and service it for no charge, within
certain parameters. I hope that makes sense, but if you could get
homeowners to pay you a monthly fee to be "on standby" for them...maybe a
"priority customer" type thing...you could start building some residual
income on top of regular service calls.

OWN stuff I have trouble seeing beyond the horizon. :o)
