yesterday I wrote a post entitled hamburgers, catfish, ice cream and neighbors very common words, if you go to google right now and put in hamburgers catfish ice cream, even without quotations, my post will come up #1 out of 213,000 entries
now that is pretty good search engine notice if you ask me and would be exceptional news if I were selling hamburgers catfish or ice cream, but I'm not, it was just an everyday post. but I don't know, maybe I will create a e-cookbook with our recipes
you see with a blog post it "pings" the search engines with new news rather than waiting fpr them to crawl your site

yes, you need to write your own post on your own blog installed on your own site, on my sites I have cpanel and it uses fantastico to install certain programs, so I have wordpress installed right on my own site, I am NOT using a free wordpress blog at wordpress, that would be like using blogger or typepad, in which case you are generating traffic for THEM, if you have your own site you can install wordpress on your own site at your domain, it attracts traffic to your own site. an example
