I've received the James Sheedy anti-spam message myself. I verified
the message. I'm wondering if when we sent an e-mail to the group
list if his spam service doesn't intercept it and interpet it as
coming from somewhere other than where the original came from (vis a
vis yahoo groups rather than the individual. It's hard to know
exactly who gets the email when it is sent through a third party but
if this is happening then perhaps Mr. Sheedy should be sent notice
that he's to be removed from that list. It would remove the
uncertainty.
Just don't get me mixed up with Mr. Sheedy. I have made every effort
to do things "personally". There was a slight delay in delivering
my "Buckets of Food for Pennies" because of a serious bout with
severe allergies stopped me from working very long in any one day on
my computer... Sorry to those that waited but I hope it was worth
it.
Maybe I'm just not being paranoid but a certain amount of spam is to
be expected because of greed, desperation or lack of knowledge. We
can only change the lack of knowledge by providing educating
materials. We can't change morality no matter how much info we give
someone.
Anyhow, I wish someone would fill me in on exactly how the posts to
this group works. I am learning but the e-mail for my ebook review
offer should have been a post to group. And since this board is
moderated, I don't get the feedback from my actions that are timely
enough to learn every nuance. That may be one reason that Mr. Sheedy
hasn't put a stop to his spam filter.
Best Regards to you all,
Patrick Lalande
