When selling Avon, don't set your sights on the small bananas like the other Avon reps tend to do. You won't make any money. Go the schools, sport teams and community associations and hold a campaign. With those, you make a few thousand each campaign. Try that.
Best home businesses on a shoestring budget:
1. commercial cleaning biz
2. curb side painting
3. writing/marketing/sales/SEO/PR (I have done this for past 3 years and I'm completely dependant on my craft)
4. Virtual Assistant - admin, data entry, email response (just be careful of the frauds selling non-existent contacts)
