I have been in traditional business and now network marketing for over 40 years and am amazed at the lack of understanding about this industry. In fact just today I was talking to a lady who said she had done a survey for the Government and reckoned that all Governments would eventually outlaw and close the industry down, and this was at a franchising and networking exhibition.
I suspect that one of the reasons is that there is no defined descriptive slot into which this type of business fits so they are all thrown into the area which also included pyramid selling and it is this foul taint that spoils the industry.
Certainly there are bad MLM companies but that is the case in all industries so why do we have to suffer this rejection.
