Hey, through more research I discovered dropshipping. Infact it seems that is how my saddle and stuff I bought from statelinetack.com did it. They got the product from a warehouse and had that warehouse drop ship it to me.. Anyone do this? Is it worth trying to do? Seems easy enough and worth the try if the warehouse statelinetack.com used to send me my item will be willing to work with me. How would I approach them? Will it be hard to get them to agree to work with me, after all it gets their products out there and sold.

I'm wondering if I could actually make a small buisness from this and see where it gets me. I see people around my neighborhood all the time selling snacks and drinks from their apartments and it seems to be working for them. I could do that but why bother since there's already a bunch of others here doing that. I could just by the tack and accesories from different places and resell it. Anyone here do something like that?

That would depend on what you're looking to contact a VC for. I have
brokered a $20M/5 year deal for a start-up technology company out here
in Silicon Valley and been involved in several VC forums for a woman
owned enterprise looking for funds (they received same from Capital
Investors)

So if you can provide more detail on what you're looking for and why
you're looking for VC vs. investor funds for your venture that would be
helpful.

Hi everyone, I've been thinking and looking around for ideas on working at home. What about an online store. Are there stores that are only online that are successful??? My area of expertise is horses and I'm also pretty good with building websites etc. I wondered if It would be a worthwhile idea to start and online tack shop??? I recently just for the heck of it bought a english saddle set for pretty cheap, leather bridle, saddle, and all the accesories for $149 and it seems this stuff is worth more then I paid for it. I am thinking about just selling it since I probably cant use it at the moment and maybe selling it for more then I paid for it.

I'm wondering if I could actually make a small buisness from this and see where it gets me. I see people around my neighborhood all the time selling snacks and drinks from their apartments and it seems to be working for them. I could do that but why bother since there's already a bunch of others here doing that. I could just by the tack and accesories from different places and resell it. Anyone here do something like that?

You really need to determine which area of business you are entering. Retail, Service, etc. And, then, which business model do you want? At home such as MLM, or brick and mortar? Lots to decide when you're looking to open a business. Best advice that was given to me... follow your passion.

Ok group....you are all amazing. I asked for help
figuring out how to make money somehow because I will
be supporting my kids solo soon. A bunch of you
suggested internet marketing...like e-bay so that
sounds great. I do some other odd jobs, and try to
homeschool my kids so I really don't have it in me to
work anymore outside of my home. All the MLM talk
lately is exciting and I am willing to hop in but
right now I NEED money...so seriously how do I make
money right away on e-bay,...I know, sell all my
junk...that won't pay my rent...any other ideas??
